Canon of Matacanes

National park of Cumbres

protected natural area of almost 200 thousand hectares. It occupies part of the municipalities of Monterrey, Allende, García, Montemorelos, Rayones, Santa Catarina, Santiago and San Pedro Garza García. Most of the park is made up of a series of geological formations, with monumental rocky walls, ravines, valleys and rivers. You can do rappelling, wildlife observation, canyoning and rappelling in the Matacanes Canyon and in the Hydrophobia Canyon and rock climbing in La Huasteca Park.
