Now we going to talk about one of the most important culture aspects of this city, and it’s the architecture that its European style because of the beginning of the city. In this space I will talk about the famous buildings the city has.

Casino

One of the attractions you can see in Linares is the casino, which was built on May 15, 1927, when the first stone of this casino was laid, which little by little was built until it became the pride it is today, with white ornaments and an imposing image that continues to be the pride of the people of Nuevo León who live in such a picturesque locality. Its design is based on the Paris Opera House with sober ornaments, considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. Today, the casino still functions as a center for social events and receptions, although you need to be a member of this club to be able to enter its facilities.

Plaza de armas

Another place we can visit in Linares is the heart of the city and we not only calling it this way because it’s in the center of it, besides of its location Plaza de armas it’s a combination of beautiful buildings this town has, and we can visit all in just one place.

We can see the elegant British-style Palacio Municipal, one of the most notable Porfirian structures in the area and of course the church near to the area.
